The Most Magnificent Thing
Over the next two weeks our class will be working on a project that requires them to use design thinking. This project is called Most Magnificent Thing. We will begin the lesson by reading a story written by Ashley Spires titled The Most Magnificent Thing. The story is about a girl trying to make something magnificient. The girl has to go through many processes until she ends up with the final product. After reading and discussing this story the students will create something magnificent. We will follow the LAUNCH steps to complete this project. The students will be working in a space called "maker space" while creating their prototype. Below is a presentation on design thinking, the LAUNCH steps, and makerspaces.
